About the Hotel

In the heart of Poreč, on the site of a 1st-century Roman forum, lies the Martis Forum Heritage Hotel & Residence. Its historic terrace and original Roman stone slabs have been carefully restored and transformed into a unique feature, creating a perfect blend of history and contemporary luxury.

The hotel offers 19 accommodation units, with 16 in the main building and 3 in a nearby annex just 30 meters away. Open nine months a year, from April to January 6th, the hotel also has an à la carte restaurant led by a talented culinary team headed by a MasterChef Croatia finalist.

Challenge

Since opening in 2022, the hotel had been using a different PMS. Over time, its limitations became clear, ranging from slow performance and unreliability to a lack of features tailored for smaller hotels. Growing frustration led the team to start looking for an alternative.

Solution

The Martis Forum Heritage Hotel & Residence team attended Rediscover, the largest hotel-tech event in the region, organized by Rentlio. The mobile app is another key feature that the owner Goran particularly values.

"For me, the most important thing is that I can check which rooms are occupied, the rates, and any restrictions directly from my phone, literally everything I need to know."

This flexibility allows him to oversee hotel operations even while on the move, while the front desk team uses the desktop version for daily tasks.
